Flower Arranging

Little Otter Flower Farm

October 4, 2026

2:00 – 4:00 PM
Cost: $30 per person

Description:

In this workshop, participants will enjoy playing with beautiful flowers from our friends, Little Otter Flower Farm, locally grown with organic regenerative practices. Max, the force behind growing and arranging Little Otter flowers, will demonstrate how he makes his signature “riots of color,” and, with his guidance, we’ll create our own special arrangements. You bring your vision of floral beauty and we’ll provide everything else: flowers, flower snips, and glassware. Have a special vase at home you’d like to use instead? Bring it with you! Space is limited, so reserve seats for you and a loved one in this special workshop soon.

Bio:

The Little Otter Flower Farm is a small family farm with a mission “to grow flowers, people and community,” founded in 2020 by and for Max, a young adult with Autism who serves as an amazing example of what people with Autism are capable of achieving. Little Otter Flower Farm works with other people diagnosed with Autism to teach job skills, integrate into the community, and chip away at the 85% Autism unemployment rate. The farm grows over 45 different varieties of flowers using no-till regenerative farming practices that not only grow beautiful flowers, but also help their land flourish even stronger every year. Little Otter sells their flowers at the local Bedford Farmers Market, through corporate and individual subscriptions, and for small weddings and events. They also provide flowers for many community events and organizations, including the D-Day Memorial, the Bower Center, the Bedford YMCA, the BUG gardens, and the Hero Games. We’re so excited to welcome Little Otter Flower Farm to the Sedalia Center!
