Featuring

Nick Chandler & Delivered

Nick Chandler and Delivered have a sound all their own. Reminiscent of bluegrass in the 1980s, they deliver a sound that is consistently polished and recognizable. Nick Chandler has a gift for writing and arranging music and he brings vocal and instrumental arrangements that have become a must see at bluegrass festivals around the country and the world. Nick Chandler and Delivered’s sound is unique and recognizable and they deliver a show that is always entertaining. The band has enjoyed many chart topping hits with their traditional yet original releases. They are true bluegrass and love giving all they have to the music they love.

Back Creek Valley Boys

Martinsburg, WV

“They like their brand of music. It’s hard-core bluegrass. Mountain-flavored and unadulterated. The band specializes in one-microphone-only harmonizing. It’s done the old-fashioned way, and they’re good. Ike Jordan serves as the unelected leader and spokesman. Ike plays mandolin and his son Andrew plays guitar and provides lead vocals. Randy Kenney plays stand-up bass and loves his role as the guy who drives the rhythm. Brandon Michael is widely known for his fine fiddling and has played with some of the best bluegrass groups in West Virginia and Maryland. Frank Maietta rounds out the group with some amazing banjo-picking.”

New Standard

Bedford, VA

We believe in keeping traditional bluegrass music alive. New Standard plays a mix of traditional bluegrass and gospel music, honoring both the founding and modern artists in the genre. We also play original bluegrass and gospel tunes written by our band members and have recorded two albums with these songs and more. After more than a decade of playing in western Virginia we hope to continue bringing music to the region for many years to come. Please feel free to contact us if you’d like to book the band for your next event or festival.

Hammaville

Bedford, VA

Hammaville features accomplished vocalists, musicians, songwriters and recording artists. The group’s musical styles spans traditional, progressive, and bluegrass gospel featuring tight bluegrass harmonies and dynamic instrumentation. Hammaville perform all types of events including but not limited to festivals, concerts, private parties, fairs, weddings, and more.

Dark Hollow

Madison, VA

The Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band has been influenced over the years by some of bluegrass music’s best-loved performers: Reno and Smiley, Stanley Brothers, Jim and Jesse, Charlie Moore, Charlie Waller and Flat and Scruggs, “We have been known to be the best dressed bluegrass band around, like Flat and Scruggs used to be when they performed. We always dress up for our shows.”

Little Mountain Boys

Lovingston, VA

We love and play a wide variety of Country, Bluegrass and Gospel music and are influenced by the sounds of Flatt & Scruggs, Jim & Jesse, Merle Haggard, Brother Oswald and the list goes on. Several members of the band have written and recorded original songs but all the members agree that nothing sounds better than acoustic instruments and amazing harmony.

Blue Connection

Roanoke, VA

Blue Connection is a hard driving traditional style bluegrass band. We formed in mid-winter of 2013. We play traditional standard bluegrass and country songs with a mixture of contemporary country and a some rock thrown in for good measure.

Rose River Ramblers
