The Worx Concert - 2010
The Worx is coming to Sedalia Center on Saturday, August 7, 2010, in a fundraiser sponsored by Century Beverage Distributors!
The gates will open at 6pm, and the music starts at 7pm. Admission is just $10 in advance (through Friday, August 6), and $15 the day of the event. (Children under 12 are free!)
The Worx is not just another band. The five members are consummate musicians, experienced and dedicated to perfecting their craft. This means each exciting show is being presented by professionals giving their very best, enjoying themselves and their audience. In 1991, Steve Pursak started the group The Worx. Now, more than 19 years later, The Worx is one of the most successful bands in Virginia, with a tour schedule that's booked a year in advance. They attribute their success to playing songs people love. The Worx is a professional cover band that travels around the Mid-Atlantic playing to audiences of different musical tastes. The Worx plays everything from Top 40 hits and country music to metal ballads and alternative rock. In all, The Worx has a catalog of about 250 songs, which continues to grow as their fans' musical tastes grow.
